Needle Punch is a historic craft that's been regaining popularity lately. With this technique you'll create a textile that's plush like a looped rug; this textile can be used to make many types of projects including rugs, wall hangings, decorative patches, table runners, seat cushions, and much, much more! In this beginner's class we'll teach you about transferring the design to your cloth, proper punching techniques, and finishing options. We'll also share a brief history of needle punching and optional supplies that can be used. After you've had some time to practice, you'll be ready to try some fun, simple designs such as the heart or flower designs provided in the handout! Plus, we'll even include a more advanced project for you to aspire to!
