Class Description
Follow along with instructor Adrienne Hodge to complete this king trumpet mushroom study in gouache on watercolor paper. Reference images provided. In part one of this two-part class, we will sketch the king trumpet mushrooms and create a color palette for this study. We will then tape down our watercolor paper, and begin to layer thin washes of colors that match the colors found in the king trumpet images. Students will be encouraged to change the color of the background on their paintings to make these studies fun and different.
By the end of part I of this class, you should have 1-2 layers of gouache on your king trumpet mushroom study to continue developing in part II of this class.
