Learn to Make an Amigurumi with Lion Brand®

If you already know how to crochet, crocheting in the round is a great next step on your yarn crafting journey! Many projects, including Amigurumi, are crocheted in the round, which makes this a versatile and useful skill. Everything from hats and mittens to sweaters and toys are often crocheted in the round. After you practice you'll be ready to include many additional types of projects and patterns in your arsenal. In this class, we'll cover working 2 single crochet in one stitch, half double crochet 2 together, working in a spiral, and working in joined rounds. We'll also review the Lion Brand Jellyfish Amigurumi pattern!

Note: We highly encourage participants to master crochet chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet before taking this class. Check out our Learn To Crochet series on the Michaels YouTube channel if you're just starting out!
