About
Nicole brings her signature texture and fearless color mixing to this brand-new Michaels class in partnership with John Bead. Using a gorgeous batik fabric as the base, she blends embroidery and beadwork in one joyful hoop design.
Follow along as Nicole shows how to:
• Combine Miyuki and Czech bugle beads for dimensional plaid effects
• Use John Bead Good Thread for sturdy stitching
• Add texture with satin, woven filling, colonial knot, and back stitches
• Work with batik fabrics to balance color and pattern
• Finish your hoop neatly and beautifully for display
It’s part bead embroidery, part free-form stitching, and all Wild Boho charm.
