In part one of this two-part class, we will discuss and practice the fundamentals of drawing a purple passionflower using contour lines and a general to specific approach to shapes and forms. Next, we will sketch the flower again on watercolor paper and add pen & ink lines to prepare for a mixed media painting of the purple passionflower in the second class installment.
