colorful watercolor place cards

Sprinkle a little extra fun onto your wedding reception tables with these colorful watercolor place cards! These little guys are crazy easy to make, and a delightful addition to any guest’s place setting. Let us show you how very simple they are – just read below!
Step 1
First, prepare your work surface by laying paper towels over it and then spread out your watercolor tags on top. Load your paintbrush with water and brush the area of the tag where you’d like to add color.
Step 2
Now, use your wet paintbrush to pick up some color from your watercolor pan that complements your wedding, and brush it onto the wet portion of each tag. Go ahead and blend in more color, if you’d like. Let the watercolor dry completely.
Step 3
Hand letter your guests’ names onto them with a black brush marker. If you’re new to hand lettering, then check out our video by clicking here; it’ll show you the basics.

TIP: We know a way to make these adorable place cards even cuter! Just add a pre-made mini succulent clay pot on top of each one to add that extra pop of color and fun!
