Wouldn't make cards without it
I used the scoring stylus with my Cricut every time I make cards. It has never failed me, it helps making the perfect crease for perfect cards every time

pretty bad product for cricut
the scoring tool itself is not bad but when you use it with the cricut (it's intended purpose), it doesn't work well. The cricut does not provide enough pressure to make a good crease. I even changed the setting to posterboard and still it was not able to put a good scoring line on reg lightweight cardstock. It's easier to just take out this stylus from the cricut and manually score the paper. But if you are going to use this manually, might as well by the regular scoring tool (flat and wider) because that works much much better.
