Too sticky!
This transfer tape is useless because it is too sticky
Anything I try to lay down on the project comes right back off with the transfer tape

Contact level is too too sticky for vinyl
I used this with holographic red vinyl for an ex as project (sticking red vinyl to magnetic steel) and it pulled the color right from the vinyl. It also took me forever to wiggle and pull the contact paper away from the vinyl. Many of the small intricate pieces of my cut were ripped and had to be hand placed with my tweezers and weeded after the project due to them ripping from the strength of the contact paper. Currently shopping around for a different brand and will be returning my unopened and slightly used rolled very soon.

I normally use duck brand Contact for all my wood working sign making but I was on a time pinch and picked this up. Horrible mistake, it sticks WAY to much, rips easily, is difficult to use and maneuver... Especially on larger pieces and you can really only use it once. Will never buy again. Ever.

Yes this is sticky but it worked for me
I have seen the bad reviews that this new transfer tape is TOO sticky. This is my opinion. I have been making Cricut products for close to two years. I had no previous training and I was struggling to get the older transfer tape to pick up my vinyl project. I feel the pain of the person where a 10 minute job took an hour. I thought it was because of something I was doing. I ordered the newer stickier transfer tape and although it IS harder to get the vinyl released, at least it is picking up my vinyl. I found that if I rub a little harder and longer with my Cricut scraper, it will release. I then can use that same piece several times, with release of the vinyl becoming easier each time until I need to cut another new piece.

This stuff is garbage. Don't waste your money.
This stuff sticks too much. Not only is it hard to get something like adhesive fold to stick to it and peel it off,

TERRIBLE! DO NOT BUY.......EVER!!!!
I am very upset that I wasted my money on this product. I have never left a review for a product or service, but this product is so bad it's disrespectful. Cricut knows better, or did they not test the product before marketing it? It is impossible to release vinyl from this transfer tape. If anyone says anything different, I won't believe it until I see an unedited video. They should have stuck with their original transfer tape....the one they had in 2009.....
