This handy product can be tinted up to 30 percent with Americana® Acrylic Paints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow-Tex is Terrific! Snow-Tex is a fantastic product! I've been using it for many years now, and a 4 oz. jar will go a long way depending on the type of craftwork you're doing. I love doing ornaments and Christmas crafting, so Snow-Tex is in my arsenal of craft supplies. It can be a little tricky, but that's no reason to not use it. I apply it with a brush or a palette knife....you can use a plastic knife/spoon, butter knife, whatever works for you. I put glitter on mine while it's still wet after I apply it to my surface. You can also do it when you varnish over it. You can paint over it when fully dried, add it to your paint for texture, or just add it as a "garnish" to your craft item. If I haven't used it for a few months, and it looks to be "dried" up, I just spritz a few sprays from a fine mister with Distilled Water and stir it around to get it back to pliability. This usually works....you can read the particulars about it on the DecorArt site for further insight. It's a great product to have at your disposal! Make sure to keep it on hand!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Got this to use on my Christmas painting after watching a video on how to use it. It is difficult and does not preform the way I expected it too. I had more on my fingers then would go on the doorhanger I was painting.
