Studio H-Frame Easel by Artist's Loft™ is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 90.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great easel! Accommodates giant canvases! I was worried when I purchased this because all the reviews said it was very hard to put together but I honestly had no problem with it. It’s a solid piece and easily holds my 48“ x 60“ canvas. Wait for it to go on sale though. I was able to get it for just under $90.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Annoyed beyond belief I drove 2 hours to get this Easel. Got home found out the box was already opened at one point, missing a support bar, no instructions. My husband is gonna try to make it "work" because we don't wanna redrive the two hours again with 6 children. I spent a lot of money on this and I'm highly disappointed with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great easel terrible instructions great sturdy easel...but don't even bother trying to decipher the instructions. You're better off using common sense to assemble it along with the picture on the box. Be prepared for frustration with this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible assembly and instructions the holes aren't even drilled deep enough. I am furious. You could at least make it correctly and add instructions that say something

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No instructions included? Can anyone help me? A number of reviews mentioned the inadequate picture instructions, but mine didn't even come with instructions at all. I've googled but can't find any online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy. Fully functional easel! 1. This easel is very sturdy. 2. It is easy to operate, you are able to slide the canvas up and down easily using a trigger at the bottom of the canvas holder, and it holds the canvas in place while doing so. 3. It is able to slant it completely back to allow the painting to be horizontal. It slants forward as well about 10-15 degrees, which I imagine would be sufficient for using pastels. 4. The assembly. As other reviews mention, the instructions are lacking. They show photos only without parts being labeled. It wasn't that difficult though to determine which part or screw to use. I mainly wanted to mention, you DO NOT need or even want to use a drill. There are only 4 phillip screws total that you need a screwdriver for, and no, my screws at the bottom do not go all the way in, but I figure that's fine, since the arms they are holding are intended to move anyway. All of the other screws are assembled using the Allen wrench that comes with it, which is sufficient. It took me about 40 minutes from start to finish. (Oh, one part to mention, at the last assembly step, it's easiest to slide the piece on while releasing the back and laying it all the way back first.) I'm totally happy with it. I have several other easels and this one is definitely has advantages over them and is going to be awesome for large canvases. I would recommend, and would purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IF YOU AREN'T HANDY GET HELP--OTHERWISE AWESOME If you want a near professional quality easel for large canvases at a good price, I don't think there is a better option available. I have had it for about a year. It is sturdy, easy to adjust up and down, and back and forward for angle, rarely hits my 8' ceilings even with a tall painting--I wish I had higher ceilings, but that isn't the easel's fault. The price is very fair for the quality, which I think is excellent. If you find yourself drilling holes or having parts not go together, you are not putting it together properly. The directions aren't great, it took me about 20 minutes and I had to do parts of it twice. I saw one other person write that the photo shows it assembled incorrectly--I agree! You do not want the tray assembly on the side pictured, you want it facing the other way so that you don't have the easel legs in between you and your art. The pictured way is a tripping hazard!
