Frank A. Edmunds Company™ Split Rail Scroll Frame is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk This frame is junk. The first one was missing a home to put the screw in and the second one I got was also defective. Take your money and throw it out if you are thinking of buying this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!! I paid like $7 with a coupon and am definitely not complaining. I have not stopped using this thing!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made The bars don't hold the fabric tight, especially on the uncut end. The one I bought came with two badly threaded wing nuts which wouldn't fit on the screws.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design needs improvement This frame is better than nothing; however, the design is just not perfect. Not discounting the possibility that I got a faulty one, the side pieces (with the holes) on mine are flimsy and one broke almost immediately, the other a few months later. The short sections from the holes to the ends are not sturdy enough to allow for tightening the bolts enough to keep the rollers from slipping, and this is where mine broke. The rollers with slits is a great idea in theory, but you need enough fabric to roll at least twice completely around the rollers to hold it firmly in place. I also bought the "universal craft stand" from Michaels but I have not been able to get this scroll frame to fit into it without some resourcefulness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only frame I use to cross stitch Does a great job at keeping fabric tight and makes for easy stitching. Works best when allowing extra salvage edge but helps with making neat, even stitches.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scroll stretcher bars To be candid, I may be doing something wrong, but I can't get my fabric in straight and nothing scrolls. I gave up in frustration!
