I bought my 9 & 11 yr old girls this kitchen science experiment kit. They really had fun with it. I had them read the very easy instructions themselves, and I only had to help out with a few of the items. There are some things you need from your kitchen for the different projects like (vinegar, baking soda, red food coloring, dish washing liquid, sugar, corn starch, grape juice, lemon). My girls loved the rocket, and volcano explosion. The lemon battery test is tricky, but we did it. The finger prints, and rock candy didn’t work for us. They really enjoyed the projects they could do on their own, and they stayed away from the 3 that they needed my help with (we did the 3 harder ones once, and they were over it). The rocket and volcano projects kept them busy for a couple of weeks.
