No problem. The frame could handle that. Also the corners were protected by the packaging so it didn’t get banged up when it was in the store.

She takes them out every Christmas season, not to use but to have them out so she can see them. We had talked so many times of a way she could display them and preserve them, they are much loved. So, off to Michaels we went. The frames were perfect. Five red, five green coasters are now in two frames. One frame has a red in each corner with a green in the center and the second, green in the corners with a red in the center. Her much loved grandmothers coasters are now safely on her wall for her to look at every day.

They also don't shed like most distressed wood does. I thought it would have that rough, splinter-y texture, but while they look distressed they still feel smooth.

It was a last minute decision and time was of the essence therefore I asked a staff member from Michaels to help me. Not only did he assist quickly but picked the perfect frame for what we needed. He helped trim the poster, inserted and assembled it all for me. It turned out beautiful. The frame itself is distressed but not too distressed which was nice. Quality frame at a reasonable price.
