Description

Ideal tools for candle wicking, ribbon embroidery and other embroidery techniques, these chenille needles are made of premium grade, nickel-plated steel. They're perfect for projects involving pearl cotton, embroidery floss and ribbon. With a smart numerical system, it's easy to select the right tool for your project: the number of the needle corresponds to the size of the eye and the thickness of the needle. The higher the number on the needle, the smaller the eye and thinner the needle.

Details:
  • 1.5" to 1.75" long
  • Available in a variety of sizes
  • 6 count packs
  • Sharp point
  • Premium grade, nickel-plated steel needles

DMC® Chenille Needles is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inside of "eye" too rough to thread. I do a lot of small needle work. These needles arrived and I was literally unable to thread them. I removed each one from it's package and could not get even a common sewing thread through the eye on any of them. These are embroidery needles and should accommodate embroidery thread. I put on my magnifying reading glasses and then looked through my magnifying lamp to try to devise the problem. The eye of each of these needles was "rough" on the inside... Very rough... like the manufacturer skipped a step making them. Horrible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a darn fine needle This needle definitely fulfills my need for a thing that is pointy at one end, yet also has a hole in the other end for thread to go through. 10/10 will buy for embroidery again.
