easy image® heatless transfer mother's day tote

Step 1
Use the Mother's Day design or click here to create your own design.

TIP: Be sure transfer paper is at room temperature before printing.
Step 2
Load a single transfer sheet into your printer so that it will print on the non-glossy, unlined side.

TIP: Do not mirror or flip image prior to printing. Image will not transfer correctly onto fabric or garment if mirrored before printing.
Step 3
Print image/design on transfer paper and let dry completely before continuing. Suggested drying time is 30 minutes.
Step 4
Trim image/design from transfer sheet to remove the excess unprinted transfer area. Any areas not printed or trimmed away will remain white when transferred.

TIP: Transfer sheet may also be trimmed with a die-cutting machine instead of hand trimming. Follow the die-cutting machine’s instructions for cutting the transfer sheet.
Step 5
Flatten fabric carefully to make sure there are no wrinkles, creases, or bubbles.
Step 6
Carefully peel one corner of the liner from back of transfer to create a small area of exposed adhesive. Take care not to pinch or fold the exposed adhesive area to avoid it adhering to itself.

TIP: Do not peel entire liner from back of transfer at once. This will create wrinkles or bubbles when transferring.
Step 7
On the hard, smooth, and sturdy surface, carefully place exposed adhesive corner onto fabric in the desired location. This will create an anchor to prevent the rest of the transfer from shifting.
Step 8
To adhere transfer to fabric, begin by slowly peeling the rest of the liner from the entire transfer while simultaneously pressing the transfer onto the fabric. Make sure to pay careful attention to edges and corners when pressing.

TIP: Avoid creating bubbles and wrinkles as much as possible when pressing the transfer onto the fabric, by carefully smoothing the transfer over the fabric. Also, do not pull or stretch the fabric while pressing. This will cause the transfer to adhere improperly and appear wrinkled or creased.
Step 9
After all of the liner has been peeled and entire transfer has been adhered to fabric, press over entire transfer area to ensure transfer is securely adhered.
Step 10
Washing Instructions:
• Wait at least 72 hours after transferring image before washing fabric or garment.
• Turn fabric or garment inside out.
• Do not machine wash.
• Spot clean with a mild detergent.
• Do not use bleach or bleach alternative detergents.
• Lay flat to dry. Do not squeeze, wring or peel transfer when wet.
