Elmer's Permanent Tape Runner works well, much easier and faster than typical double sided tape and it is easy to refill with (separately purchased) replacement cartridges. Down side is that each cartridge runs out relatively quickly and so at this price this ends up being a pricey item. Think about the size of your project and purchase extra cartridges if needed so you do not have to run back to the store.
