fall door grapevine wreath
Make this Fall door grapevine wreath project it is a great Fall project to make with the kids.
Step 1 |
Project Note: This project is designed so the child will make the felt sunflower while the adult will make the rest of the wreath. Click here to download and print the template. Cut out the shapes. |
Step 2 |
ADULT: Decorate your grapevine wreath with floral bushes. Use wire cutters to cut apart the bush and push the individual stems in place into the grapevine. Use hot glue to secure the floral stems in place. |
Step 3 |
Trace the petal shapes onto yellow felt and cut out. You will need eight petals to make a small sunflower. |
Step 4 |
Next, trace the center of the sunflower onto brown felt twice and cut it out. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Use hot glue to attach the petal shapes around the perimeter of one brown circle. Once all leaves are attached, glue the second brown circle to the top center of the sunflower. |
Step 6 |
Add black dots to represent seeds with a marker. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Steps 3-5 for two smaller sunflowers. |
Step 8 |
ADULT: Hot glue the felt sunflower onto the center of the hoop arrangement. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
