grand spring floral arrangement

Time to update your spring décor! Why not make this glorious showstopper that’s full of romantic flowers and greenery? Read on and we’ll show you how to build your very own arrangement out of eucalyptus, hydrangeas and succulents.
Step 1
Use the serrated knife from the tool set to cut down a block of floral foam until it will fit inside your container. Push it into the container, all the way down to the bottom.
Step 2
What size do you want your arrangement to be? Hold your eucalyptus stem up to your container and decide where it should be cut. Cut the stem into two parts, then insert the eucalyptus stems into the floral foam. Arrange them so they droop over the sides of the container.
Step 3
Two of the hydrangea blooms should sit close to your container’s opening. Hold them up to the container to figure out how long their stems should be, and cut them. Insert the hydrangea stems into the floral foam.
Step 4
The third hydrangea should sit a little higher than the other two. Again, hold the hydrangea up to the container to decide where to snip it, cut the stem and push it into the floral foam.
Step 5
Snip off the two lowest succulents on the succulent stem.
Step 6
The remainder of the succulent stem needs be long enough so that the succulents sit slightly taller than the tallest hydrangea. Hold the stem up to estimate how long it needs to be and cut it. Insert it into the floral foam.
Step 7
Push the two shorter succulents (the ones you snipped off in Step 5) into the floral foam so that they’re tucked just at the container’s opening.
Step 8
Use your fingers to arrange all the floral stems. Bend them so that they drape down the sides of the container in a natural fashion.

TIP: Do you like your arrangement? Here’s a great trick to make sure: take a photo with your phone. Looking at the arrangement through a photo gives you a different perspective of how it looks. You may want to tweak your flowers a bit more.
Step 9
Would you like your arrangement to sit a little taller? If so, you can pull the stems up a bit and add moss to cover the floral foam. Use hot glue to attach the moss to the foam.
