halloween spooky eyes pumpkin

This adorable pumpkin will help you keep an eye on any supernatural shenanigans! Plus, it’s the perfect Halloween DIY for kids (with just a little help from the nearest grown-up). Read below and we’ll show you how to add all the spooky eyes you could ever want to your craft pumpkin!
Step 1
To start, pour some of the black and white paints onto a paper plate (or a paint palette). Dip the largest stenciling sponge into the white paint, making sure the entire bottom of its foam sponge is covered.
Step 2
To make your first eye shape, press the paint-covered stenciling sponge onto the pumpkin, twist and lift it straight up again. Repeat to make several more large white dots around the pumpkin.
Step 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to make more white dots with the medium-sized stenciling sponge. Let all of the paint dots dry.
Step 4
Next, dip the medium-sized stenciling sponge into black paint and press it onto the pumpkin inside each of the largest white dots to turn them into eyes. Use the smallest stenciling sponge to add black dots to the medium-sized white dots. Let the paint dry.
Step 5
ADULT: Use a hot glue gun to add more (lots more!) wiggle eyes in various sizes to the pumpkin.
