hola shutters
Say hello to these cheerful shutters! Aren’t they exactly the summer décor project you’ve been looking for? They’re so simple to make, too – just snap together a few grass mats, and add a welcoming “hola” from our home décor collection. Let’s do it!
Step 1 |
First, snap two of the mats together, side-by-side, and then repeat with the two remaining mats. Now, snap one set of mats across the top of the other two, forming one larger grass square. |
Step 2 |
Use your scissors to trim the grass mat’s edges, so that it fits perfectly inside the square opening at the center of the shutters. |
Step 3 |
Time to hang it all up! First, hang the large grass square on your wall. |
Step 4 |
Next, hang the shutters on top, so that the grass square fills the opening inside the shutters. |
Step 5 |
Finally, hang the wooden word “hola,” centering it on top of the grass mat. That’s all there is to it! What a great welcome! Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
