Washes up softer
I really like this yarn. But unlike many reviewers, I don't have splitting issues, or problems with knots. I manage a center pull with very little yarn barf. It washes up soft, and the color range is stunning. I wish Michael's carried all of them in store, as it really is a staple and it's their own house brand. I did notice it just went up in price but still a good value.

A big tangled mess
Nice feeling yarn but a big tangled mess!! I spent more time trying to untangle it than actually crocheting!

lovely yarn
I bought 4 balls about 3 years ago. I finally got the out, in this nightmare we are forced to live in. It was soft, lovely to work with. It didn’t separate. But, since then, every single time I’ve gone through the flyer(if we actually got one), find it on sale, I call the Thursday the sale starts, & Michael’s is out of stock. In 1/2 a day? I’ve even begun to get up early, so I could do a phone order, but they are all sold out! We live too far away to be there at opening. We need another crafts & yarn store! Badly! With at least 1/2 the store filled with yarn! I will keep shopping at Michael’s. What choice do many of us have?

Very pleased with this product
First time buying this yarn. I was nervous about the quality of the yarn: how soft, strong it would be and whether or not the strands would split. At first I was trying to make a hat for my husband with the recommended hook size. Everything was great, except the stitches seemed to be too tight and small, leaving big gaps. I went up from a 5.5 to a 7, and the stitches just seemed to fill out and relax enough to make the work lovely with squishiness and soft, warm results. The colors are exactly the same as on the website. There is no splitting of the strands (unless I try real hard) and it just glides over the hook.
Negative portion: Hook recommendation is wrong for this yarn. I would recommend at least a 6.0, maybe even a 6.5. Minimum.

Very very frustrating
Love the yarn but very struggling with the middle out to find the end. It took me an hour or so. It comes out so fat. So hard to pulling it out!!!! Augh!!!!!!!

Beautiful colors, but splits like crazy
I got the color Sunny Day to make a hat for my friend. The cor is gorgeous, but the yarn splits into its individual threads very easily. I guess you get what u pay for...

Super soft but...
What can I say, the colors are amazing. The yarn is the softest yarn I’ve used thus far, and the splitting isn’t too bad. I think for the price you can’t beat it. The only down side is that if you like to pull from the middle it does get rather tangled or it’s incredibly difficult to find the strand in the middle. This is easily fixed by either making the skein into a cake or a ball. I honestly will continue using this yarn just because of how soft the yarn is and the color choices. You really can’t beat the price for the quality of the yarn.

Wonderful Yarn
To the women that say the yarn is knotted in the middle you do not know how to pull the middle string out. To the women who say the yarn splits and looks bad learn how to crochet. I have used this yarn for 5 years and made hundreds of afghans that have turned out beautiful and are used and loved by many.

Splits a ton!
I got this yarn for a sweater because it was affordable. It splits like crazy and separates into its individual threads that stick out and make the piece look sloppy. I’ve only tried the creamy off-white colour so not sure if this is true for all colourways. Probably will just use what I have for amigurumi but not for anything I plan on wearing.

really satisfied, highly recommend :)
I've purchased a few different types of yarns from Michaels and this honesty was the best one so far. It was not itchy at all if you plan to use it for clothing, it is a fairly good price compared to other websites, the yarn is soft and has a good amount of stretch, and there was no splitting what so ever. I purchase the yarn in black, white, light green and rose and I can confirm it's true to the colours shown on the website- they were nice, bright, and vibrant. I really like the quality and the quantity is great as well, with only two bundles of yarn I was able to make 3 bucket hats and 1 tube/crop top (crocheting). really satisfied, highly recommend ~(^з^)-♡

Terrific for temperature blanket
This is my favorite and my “go-to” yarn for both color and texture. Some have mentioned and complained about knots, and I have had that happen enough to remember it. I love the product for the weight, nice even medium weight yarn. I use it again and again.

Great Color Options
I love how many different shades are available! I'm very particular about color and often struggle with finding the exact shade I'm thinking of when planning projects.
I have used over a dozen skeins in a variety of colors. There was one spot where the yarn went a little thick and weird, but it was very easily disguised in my crochet work.
In my opinion, the solid colors seem a little thicker than the tweed options. It's noticeable when working with it, but indistinguishable in the finished crochet item.

Knotted from the inside out
One in four skeins I purchased were so knotted in the center that they were unusable. I started unfurling this skein when I was but a young girl. My boyfriend and I took turns. We are old now, gray beyond our years.
Somehow trying to unknot the tangle took untangled, perfectly functional yarn with it. It has absorbed half my unfinished project (which is now in the garbage), two blankets I made in the 90s, a bathrobe, two sweaters, and three-quarters of a Hyundai.
Somehow, during manufacturing, some of the yarn strands were snagged together. And I will never... ever again buy yarn from these people who can't make a skein than can be used.

ALWAYS a tangled mess
Honestly the quality of this yarn is fine and the colour selection is great, but every single skein without fail is a complete tangled mess on the inside. I thought I was somehow causing this mess myself when pulling the centre string, so I tried working from the outside of the skein (I typically always work from the inside and I usually roll all my skeins into balls before I use them, just a preference of mine) but I would still encounter a tangled mess on the inside. It has taken me many hours to untangle a lot of these skeins and honestly at least half of them have gone straight in the garbage because they are a lost cause. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your money on this yarn, for about the same price you can get a red heart value skein and won’t have to deal with this mess!

Color Alert!
Teal is such a difficult color to describe. My online picture of Loops & Threads Impeccable yarn in Teal definitely leaned towards the greenest of teals. But when it arrived it's much closer to what I'd call blue green. Still a lovely color. Here's a picture of it next to Caron's Simply Soft in 'Ocean'

Will Never Buy Again! A tangled disaster!
I have purchased 6 rolls of this yarn and I have spent more time untangling them than I have on my projects The yarn has both ends tied together in the middle of the roll, once you untie them, they eventually wrap back around each causing a tangled mess. The yarn is just stuffed in the middle and you have to find the end. One roll had a big ball of fuzz from another color(s) yarn attached in the middle of it. I thought maybe it was a fluke in my first roll, but 4 out of the 6 are this way, I dare use the other 2. I would expect this from cheaper yarn, but this is not cheap. There should be a warning on the label stating both ends are in the center, better yet wind it differently. Very frustrating and aggregating.

OK but only for practice
I started to crotchet again after almost 10 years. This was the first yarn I used to practice and learn new stitches. Color is beautiful (Eggplant) but the yarn itself is terrible. It often splits, and is super fuzzy. There was also a long piece that i had to cut out because it was a fuzzy mess. It's a ok yarn to practice with, but that it. I don't recommend this at all.

A cheap yarn
Although the colors are good and it is really inexpensive the yarn stretches out too much after washing— does not hold the shape you have knit. The Vanna White yarn does not stretch out after washing.

good but...
The colors are vibrant and pretty, and I had no issues with knots. However, the finished product was very stiff and not too soft, compared to the Red Heart yarn I usually use. I recommend soaking the project in fabric softener and warm water, then setting it out to dry, as this helped with the starchy feeling in my sweater. Otherwise, this yarn was very easy to crochet with, and if you are using it for non clothing items I would definitely recommend.

I have made several blankets for gifts. I often do my knitting in public, e.g. doctors office, park, or bus. I get so many compliments. I love the variety of colors. I am extremely pleased with the results. To get even more colors I also used other yarns of the same weight. This worked well. I

Love love LOVE this wool. It is so softy beautiful
love this wool for it's lightweight, cozy, softy feel. I made scarves for my adult kids this year and my grandkids. Making lap blankets for every one this year. Love the colors available as well. How sweet is it that it washes really well also... and the price is super great. thanks Michaels.
