jeweled frame
Fancy up a wooden frame with distressing paint and crystal gems.
Step 1 |
Total Project Time (including dry time): 3 hours Sand frame with fine grit sandpaper, if needed to remove rough edges. |
Step 2 |
Pour a small amount of Pink Carnation Chalk Paint onto palette paper. Using a foam brush, brush a layer of paint onto frame. Paint a second layer if needed. Tip: For best results, let paint dry between layers. |
Step 3 |
Pour a small amount of Pewter Chalk Paint onto palette paper. Using a foam brush, brush a layer of paint onto frame. Set aside to dry for at least ten minutes. |
Step 4 |
Once paint has dried, sand small areas of the frame along the edges to remove the Pewter and reveal the Pink Carnation underneath. Sand as needed until desired effect is achieved. Wipe off paint dust with damp paper towel. |
Step 5 |
Apply a small dab of Tulip Crystal Bond adhesive to the back of acrylic gemstones. |
Step 6 |
Use bead tweezers to apply gemstones to frame edges as desired. Set aside to dry for at least two hours. |
