kids club® rawr-some dinosaur card

Step 1
- Print the template from michaels.com and cut out.
- Trace the front and back of the card onto green cardstock and cut out.
TIP: Construction paper can be substituted for cardstock; however, cardstock will make a sturdier card.

-  Line the top edge of front of card to the top edge of back of card using a piece of tape, so the card can open and close.

Step 2
- Trace the larger “inside of mouth” pattern onto black construction paper and cut out. Adhere to the inside of back of card, centered left to right.  Trace the smaller “inside of mouth” pattern onto red construction paper and cut out. Adhere along the bottom of the black construction paper attached. This will be part of the tongue.
- Trace the long rectangle pattern onto red construction paper and cut out. Fold using the accordion fold method to create a square that is 1" in size. Set aside.
Step 3
- Trace teeth pattern onto white construction paper and cut out. Adhere the larger teeth to the inside of front of card, and the smaller teeth along the bottom of the back of card.

- Cut out a small square to write message and adhere to the accordion-folded red construction strip. Adhere other side of accordion strip to the inside of the card just above the bottom teeth.

- Close card and glue two large wiggle eyes to the top of card. Use a black marker to draw nostrils and green marker to add freckles.
