kids "thankful for" tree

This project is intended for kids ages 3+. Kids will love making a Gratitude Tree to let everyone know what they are truly thankful for. Just slide the tree together, then make leaves and write your messages on the leaves!

Print Project

Step 1

Paint the leaves on the two pieces of the wooden tree and let dry. Be sure to paint both sides of the leaves.

Step 2

Assemble the wooden tree by gently sliding the two pieces together.

Step 3

Cut out a variety of leaves from construction paper in Fall shades.

Step 4

Write things you are thankful for on each leaf, then glue the leaves over some of the wooden leaves on the tree.
