land of dinosaurs: clothespin pterodactyl

Your kids will have so much fun crafting this dinosaurable Camp Creativity game.
Step 1
Click here to print template from michaels.com. Cut out.

Fold a sheet of construction paper in half.

Line the left side of the Pterodactyl wings and body up, with the fold of the paper as indicated on the template. Trace and cut out. Set aside.
Step 2
Color the clothespin with the same color marker as the construction paper used for the wings and body.

Trace and cut out the oblong head crest from the same color construction paper as the wings and body.
Step 3
Line up the straight end of the head crest to the end of the clothespin that opens when the opposite side is pinched with your fingers. Glue across the top of the clothespin up to the ridge, and then fold back. Use image as a guide.
Step 4
Unfold the body and wings that were set aside earlier. Pinch open the clothespin. Place the body and wings inside along the center fold and close the clothespin. The feet should stick out from the back of the clothespin.

Step 5
Glue a wiggle eye on each side of the clothespin, as shown. Let dry.
