land of dinosaurs: painted fossil
Your kids will dig this dinosaur-able Camp Creativity fossil craft.
Step 1 |
Roll Model Magic® into the size of a golf ball and then flatten out. |
Step 2 |
Press a dinosaur figurine into the flat clay. Remove to reveal the fossil shape. Let dry. |
Step 3 |
Using a dry foam brush, lightly paint the white fossil with the brown paint. Take a paper towel and wipe off the paint to make the clay look like an ancient fossil. |
Step 4 |
Punch out the hole at the top for the necklace with a straw. Let clay dry. |
Step 5 |
Cut a piece of yarn to the length desired for necklace and add 1" to that measurement. |
Step 6 |
Fold the yarn in half and thread the folded center end through the hole. Thread loose ends of the yarn through the loop of the fold over the fossil and pull tight. Knot the loose ends of the yarn at desired length and trim. |
