You're definitely experienced. You've tried it all, and you're looking for a challenge!
Step 1
Cut up glycerin soap base into pieces and insert into a glass container until it's about two-thirds full.
Step 2
Microwave the soap in 30 second increments, stirring with a craft stick in between until it is fully melted. Carefully remove the glass container from the microwave.
Step 3
Add a few drops of Lavender Breeze Essential Oil to the melted soap. Add 1-2 drops of purple soap colorant. Mix with a craft stick.
Step 4
Pour a small amount of the lightly colored soap into the molds. Let the molds set for about 5 minutes, or until a film has formed on the top of the soap.

TIP: If the film gets too thick, your color layers may not adhere.
Step 5
Add about 2-4 more drops of purple colorant to the soap to make it slightly darker. Mix with a craft stick and pour on top of the previous color. Let the soap set for about 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add about 2-4 more drops of purple colorant to the soap to make it even darker. Mix with a craft stick and pour on top of the previous color. Let this set for about 5 minutes. Let the soap harden, about an hour.

TIP: You can speed up the hardening by carefully putting the mold into the freezer.
Step 7
Remove the soap from the mold. The soap should look graduated from light to dark. Using the soap loaf cutter of a sharp knife, cut the soap into "shards" and gemstone shapes.
Step 8
Melt more soap base in the microwave. Color it a darker purple, similar to the darkest color in the soap you previously made. You can add more scent at this point if desired.
Step 9
Pour the purple melted soap base into the molds, filling them about halfway. Let the soap set for 10-15 minutes. You want a film on top but you do not want the soap too hard yet. Carefully push the gem shapes and shards into the melted soap in the molds.

TIP: Be careful as the liquid soap will still be hot.
Step 10
Sprinkle a little glitter powder over the soap as you are pushing the gem shapes and shards into the top of the soap.
Step 11
Let the soap completely harden, about one hour. Remove soaps from the molds.
