Beginner
You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.
Step 1 |
Cut chunks of soap from the shea butter soap block. The smaller the chunks, the faster it will melt. Place some of the soap into a glass bowl for each color. Follow the directions on the package to melt it in the microwave. |
Step 2 |
Add coloring to each bowl. More color added to a smaller amount of the white soap will result in a darker color. Mix well with a craft stick. |
Step 3 |
Add a few drops of fragrance to each color and mix well. |
Step 4 |
Pour the melted soap into the molds. Let cool completely. |
Step 5 |
Pop out the soaps from the mold. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
