Love this yarn!
I LOVE this yarn. Soft and affordable. Unfortunately, my pattern called for 400 yards but I need more. I bought the last two skeins so now I'm in trouble!

Lions Brand Yarn
I used Lions Brand Heartland Yarn color Grand Canyon for a prayer shawl I am crocheting. The color is soft visually and in texture. I originally bought 3 skeins and had to go back for 2 more because I wanted to add scalloped edging and fringe on the ends. The same store did not have any more of the same dye lot so I bought 2 anyway. They were perfect. You cannot tell the difference.

The Yarn I Needed
I was working on a project, and realized that I didn't have enough yarn. I checked out the yarn online, ordered what I needed, and it was at my house in two days! I really appreciate the promptness of my order! I was able to use a coupon and got a great price too.

Easy to crochet with.
Was looking for a soft yarn in a fall color to crochet a hat. The yarn was soft and did not split like SS. The two tone effect of the yarn makes it more attractive than the solid colors. It worked up great, easy to crochet with. Hat turned out beautiful!

The perfect worsted weight!
This is so soft. The drape is perfect for garments, like gorgeous Redwood sweater I’m making and can’t wait to wear! I seriously want a sweater out of every beautiful color they make!!
It doesn’t split though my new Clover hook is helping with that I’m sure. It is extremely soft and light in feel. A joy to work with. I’m extremely picky about yarn. Most acrylics look and feel rough and cheap. This does not. Looks and feels much more expensive than it is.
Please never stop carrying this yarn! It’s perfect!
May be too light feeling for a winter Afghan though. Maybe I’m just used too bulkier or rougher textures? It’s still a worsted weight.
Honestly, I couldn’t be more pleased with this yarn~ except if I found it on sale. Lol

Best of the best acrylic
Soft to the touch. Gorgeous color options. Easily worked. Recommended size 6 hook on packaging, but I find it works up better with a 5.5 hook. Only downside is it frays a small amount if you miss a ply while crocheting.

Love the colors and it’s affordable.
This yarn comes in great colors if you like more muted tones. I had one skein that had more knots and defective spots but mostly intact as a rule. It is not a tightly spun yarn. More loosely constructed. I have made hats and I am currently making a sweater with it. I don’t know how it will wear long term. But I love the slightly heathers look of it.

Soft! Beautiful!
I just learned to knit and wanted something to make small “comfort square” hearts I found once in a hospice. This yarn is very soft and comforting, an very nice fluffy weight, and it comes it beautiful colors. I particularly like the rose and the teal shades.

Soft yarn but not for cables
I purchased this yarn because of the beautiful color and softness. The pattern of the sweater called for worsted weight wool yarn. I intended to make a heavily cabled sweater with this yarn in order to have much lighter in weight sweater then if it was made with wool yarn,
So far I knitted half of the back of the sweater and I see that the yarn does not work well for heavily cabled items. It splits a lot and the piece shows already a lot of fuzz and even pills. Maybe the yarn is more suitable for stockinette stitch, etc.

Soft and Quality Yarn
I absolutely love this yarn. It is soft and strong, and perfect for all my crochet needs. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The variation in color created with the speckles of different tones adds dimension and interest to the hats I make that flat colored yarn simply doesn’t have. LOVE this yarn. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

Very Nice Yarn
I used this yarn to make a sweater. It was the recommended yarn for the sweater and I followed the pattern. I have come to love the lion brand yarn and this is no exception. It crochets up nicely does not split and the finished project is smooth and beautiful. Made one for myself and now making two more for my daughters. Would highly recommend.

Easy to work, Consistent Colors
I've used this yarn for several years for a variety of projects from amigurumi to clothing and accessories. Very easy to use, flexible and soft in a nice variety of heathered colors. My only caution is that while listed as a weight 4 yarn, it is a bit lighter in weight than most- so you may need to loosen your tension or add a few extra stitches to patterns to fit pattern gauges. Take care when laundering as it does fuzz up like other yarns, but not as quickly.

Yarn purchased
Most of the yarns have several knots. It's not continuous. I'm disappointed that I've never had one that didn't have knots although they are the colors that I was looking for.
