Avoid!
I bought this to make bracelets for my kiddos and thought they'd enjoy turning the knob. First of all, the instructions are difficult to follow. Once figuring out what to do to get started, which tested my patients, we were excited to begin. The first dislike that I had was that the gear was EXTREMELY difficult to manipulate. It continued to get stuck through the entire process of creating a bracelet. Secondly, the string kept getting knotted to itself and stuck in the twisting process of the knob. The only way I was able to prevent this, was to hold the excess string with my mouth, (YUCK!) Lastly, even though I used the bare minimum to create the bracelet, it wss far too thick and the quality was terrible from spinning it. I will go back to the old fashion way I grew up with using a clipboard!

This product was and is easy and fun to use
It was a christmas present for my daughter. If a beginner it takes a couple of trys to get it down but after she figured it out she loves making bracelets

Fun but gears stick
I have fun using it with my 8yo, but the knobs stick and this interrupts the process of spinning. A version with better gears would make this a better product.
