loops & threads® free spirit™ crochet lap blanket

Step 1
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 40" x 28"

GAUGE: 2 sc = 4"; save time and check your gauge

NOTE: This lap blanket is made using a total of 2 skeins of Loops & Threads Free Spirit Yarn in Charcoal. Instead of using a hook, you will single crochet with your hands and fingers.
Begin by making a slip knot. Use your fingers instead of a hook to ch 20, and turn.

Row 1: Sk the first ch and sc into the second ch from the hook. Continue to sc into each ch until you reach the end of the row. Ch 1 and turn.

Row 2: Working in the back loop only, sc into each st until you reach the end of the row. Ch 1 and turn.

Rows 3-12: Rep Row 2.

Finishing: When you reach the end of your final row, knot off your yarn and trim the excess, leaving a tail of 4"-6". Weave in this tail, as well as the one at the beginning.

ABBREVIATIONS:
