Dc3tog = (Yoh and draw up a loop in next chain or stitch. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times. Yoh and draw through all 4 loops on hook.
Pat = Pattern
Rep = Repeat(s)
RS = Right side
Sc = Single crochet
Sc3tog = Draw up a loop in each of next 3 stitches. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook.
WS = Wrong side
Yoh = Yarn over hook
 
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 40" x 50" (101.5 x 127 cm).
 
GAUGE: 13 sc and 14 rows = 4" (10 cm).

  • 3 Balls - Loops & Threads® Impeccable™ Big Ombre (10.5 oz./300 ga.; 582 yds./640 m) Yarn – Earth Ombre (Contrast B; 10158438)

Instructions
Notes: Do not break yarn. Carry color not in use along side edge of work.
To change color, work to last two loops on hook. Draw new color through last two loops, then proceed in new color.
 
With A, ch 147.
 
1st row: (RS). 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). *1 dc in each of next 7 ch. Dc3tog. 1 dc in each of next 7 ch.** 3 dc in next ch. Rep from * 6 times more, then from * to ** once. 2 dc in last ch. Turn. Join B. Break A.
 
2nd row: With A, ch 3. 1 dc in first dc. *1 dc in each of next 7 dc. Dc3tog. 1 dc in each of next 7 dc. 3 dc in next dc. Rep from * across, ending with 2 dc in last dc. Join B. Turn.
 
3rd row: With B, ch 1. Working in back loops only, 2 sc in first dc. *1 sc in each of next 7 dc. Sc3tog. 1 sc in each of next 7 dc. 3 sc in next dc. Rep from * across, ending with 2 sc in last dc. Turn.
 
4th row: With B, ch 1. Working in back loops only, 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in each of next 7 sc. Sc3tog. 1 sc in each of next 7 sc. 3 sc in next sc. Rep from * across, ending with 2 sc in last sc. Join A. Turn.

Substitute A for B and B for A, then cont in Zig Zag Pat until work from beg along one side measures 50" (127 cm), ending on a RS row.
