This hoop is good quality and worked perfectly for the project I was making. Sometimes the screw tightener can be a bit wonky, so always good to test these before buying. This one was a good one!

Faulty hoop, not the end of the world
The metal pieces on top were not fastened correctly, so I have to use pliers to tighten/loosen this hoop. This only occured on 1 out of 4 hoops purchased, so not a huge deal. I'll shop my discrimately next time to avoid this.

Quality but screw won’t turn on one hoop
Good wooden hoops. No splinters!
I bought 7 of different sizes. But one has a screw that’s stuck/unturnable so I won’t be able to use that one. Bummer.

Nice classic wooden hoop!
Nice classic little hoop. Fabric tension is a bit loose but binding it with twill tape helps a lot. Looks really cute for framing finished pieces!

Good product for beginners
Product won’t fall apart like many cheaper bamboo hoops like it but it can be difficult to tighten. I am worried if I had to tighten it much more that the metal bits would potentially come loose or even fall off but they seem sturdy so far. I do prefer plastic hoops for this reason but I’d gotten a few of these and they work as intended.

When I properly looked at this hoop after buying, the wood appeared cracked. I don't think there are any structural problems because of this, but the appearance is a little disappointing.
The fastener is a pain to use. I had to use pliers to hold the nut with pliers while I turned the screw. The screw doesn't have a screwdriver slot either, so I had to do that with my hand.
Otherwise, it's fine. It's a hoop. But I wouldn't buy this again, and I probably won't get hoops that have a nut, or won't get hoops that don't have a screw drive.
