Hello! I'm Laurie Mertens. I've been artistic my whole life, ranging from drawing and painting to wood inlay and stone sculpture. I never had access to a kiln, however, so although I enjoyed working with clay I didn't. That changed in the fall of 2023 when I found Something Earthy Pottery Studio and began taking classes there. I have been able to sculpt some adorable, fun creatures and make them into earrings among other things. People like the earrings so much that I am putting up this little store.
