This solid Hard Maple and Walnut cutting/serving board is manufactured in America by experienced artisans and designed to become a family heirloom. The boards are factory manufactured to lay flat and not warp, cup, split, or twist like one piece boards can. We introduce several coats of food grade mineral oil to absorb into and seal the wood and finish with two layers of a proprietary food grade American Beeswax mix to finish the boards. Our policy is to not waste wood that took 100 years to grow so your board may be slightly larger than advertised (but will not be smaller) as we do not cut boards down to exact sizes but rather maximize the available wood.
