
mason jar candy corn trifle
Step 1 |
Mix your favorite cake mix (or recipe) as directed. Divide your batter in two equal parts. Add Lemon Yellow to one part and mix well, then add Orange to the other part and mix well. |
Step 2 |
Bake each part separately. While warm, use a form to break up each cake color. |
Step 3 |
Wash and dry each Mason jar. |
Step 4 |
Layer the two colors of cake into your Mason jars. Ad yellow first and then orange. |
Step 5 |
Use the tip included with your icing pouch and pipe icing into your jar, over the orange cake layer. |
Step 6 |
Top with Candy Corns. |
Step 7 |
Now, use the lid of your Mason jar as a template and trace a circle onto scrapbook paper. Cut out circle. Place the lid on top of your jar, add the circle on top of the lid and screw on the rim. |
Step 8 |
Wrap a piece of baker's twine around the rim a few times and tie a bow. Trim ends as needed. |
Step 9 |
