Step 1 |
Spray paint jars in a well-ventilated area. Let dry. Step 2 Next cut out the vinyl words and embellishments using your Cricut® machine:
Step 3 Use scissors to cut out your design. Next, use your weeder tool to peel away the remaining negative space surrounding design. When you’re done, only the design itself should be left on the backer paper. Step 4 Cut a piece of transfer tape that’s just a bit larger than the design. Peel away the tape’s backer paper and place the tape, sticky-side down, over this part of the design. Burnish the vinyl so that it’s completely stuck to the tape. Step 5 Now, gently peel the white backer paper from the cut-out design, which now should be stuck to the transfer tape. Step 6 Hold the transfer tape with the design over your surface, to determine where you’d like it placed; then press it onto your surface. Burnish the vinyl once more to make sure it’s completely stuck to the surface. Gently peel away the transfer tape, leaving the vinyl transferred to your surface. Step 7 For the tissue holder jar, paint the rim of the lid yellow wth Dandelion paint. Let dry. Step 8 Cut a piece of felt that fits inside the Mason jar lid. Fold the piece in half one way and cut a small slit, then fold in the opposite direction and make another cut. This should create an "X" in the center. Step 9 Use hot glue to attach the felt to the inside rim. Place a folded stack of tissues in the jar and screw the lid in place on the jar. Pull tissues one at a time through the "X" opening. Step 10 Fill the remaining jars as labeled! |
