You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.
Step 1
Project Notes:
  • We used a total two and a half 5 oz. bottles of clear glue and one half bottle of green glitter glue to make all three colors of slime, as shown.
  • All types of Elmer’s® Glue work with this recipe.
  • Be careful when children are crafting with sequins, as the product does have a choke hazard warning on the label.
  • Protect your work surface with wax paper (or palette paper) and wear an apron (or other protective garment) to protect clothing, as the food coloring and paint may stain.

First, make three batches of your favorite clear glue slime recipe and add color to each one according to your recipe’s instructions.

TIP: Elmer’s® has some great recipes; click here to download.
Step 2
Teal Slime: To make this dark greenish-blue slime, use one half bottle of clear glue and one half bottle of green glitter glue. To get the color shown, add Sky Blue gel food coloring to the glue.

TIP: Dip a craft stick into the food coloring jar, then mix it into the glue, according to your recipe’s instructions.
Step 3
Silver Blue Slime: To make this sea-blue slime, use one full bottle of clear glue. To get the color shown, add Sky Blue gel food coloring to the glue.
Step 4
Once you have made your slime and you’re satisfied with its consistency, flatten it out on a piece of wax (or palette) paper and sprinkle on glitter and sequins. Fold the slime's edges in toward the center to blend the glitter and sequins into the slime. Continue until they are evenly distributed throughout the slime.
Step 5
Lavender Slime: To make this pale purple slime, use one full bottle of clear glue. To get the color shown, add a very small amount of Pink food coloring and Violet food coloring to the glue according to your recipe's instructions.
Step 6
Once your slime is made, repeat Step 4 to blend in chunky rainbow and small princess glitter.
Step 7
Form each slime into a long strip and lay each one next to the other on your wax (or palette) paper. Now fold and twist the slimes together until you have blended them together just the way you like.
Step 8
Be sure to store your slimes in an airtight, sealable container or re-sealable plastic bag.
