Really Frustrated from
A total waste of money and time!
I wasn’t expecting a professional grade machine for the amount I paid, but I did think I would be getting a machine that would do at least the most basic stitches. Unfortunately the only thing that came of it was total frustration and disappointment. it constantly snagged and broke the thread, and even with the assistance of a very experienced seamstress, we could not get the machine to work properly. I am so aghast that Michaels does not stand behind the products that they sell, meaning I could not return the item because it had been opened and used. Correction…opened and “tried” to use! It was a total waste of money. Save yourself the aggravation and spend a bit more to get a much better quality product that actually works.

Even on clearance, this is a waste of money
I understand now why this item was returned and listed on clearance at my local Michael's. I should have known a $30 sewing machine was too good to be true. The instructions to set up the machine are near incomprehensible and the mechanism that's meant to pick up the bobbin thread doesn't work. This machine can't do a basic stitch when you go to thread it yourself.
I've googled solutions and tried troubleshooting myself to no success. Since I can't return it, it's probably going in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!

Loops and thread sewing machine
terrible machine do not buy!! We got this in a pinch, tried to use it and no matter what, the threat always tangles and or pulls back out of the needle. We bought a Brother machine and that works like butter! Night and day! Get a Brother instead!!!

Money vs Quality
This is a small, cheap sewing machine. A friend gave this to me at the beginning of the covid pandemic so that I could make masks. I've made over 100 masks. I've made scrunchies. I've made headbands. I made a purse. This is best suited for THIN fabrics. All I've used is cotton. Even using thin fabric, if you have to sew through too many layers, this machine does not have the power for it (remember cheap/small) and it will jam. Sometimes the bottom bobbin gets knotted for no reason and that will also cause the machine to stop. I've had to waste a lot of thread from having to clear the bottom bobbin of tangles. But honestly I would definitely recommend this for someone just starting out. You can 100% get a feel for sewing with this machine and you can quickly teach yourself how to troubleshoot. Now I have a new favorite hobby and will be moving on to a nicer machine.

You get what you paid for
It was cheap but also broke not long after purchase after being used a few times for small projects. Better off spending the extra money for a better quality machine.

Inoperable
This machine is small and compact. The bobbin is not easy to access. The machine did not work, it kept shutting off and on. The box did not come with a manual and I was unable to reach a customer representative to request one nor did I find any support online.

Terrible! Don’t waster your money!
This is the worst product I’ve ever bought from Michaels. It skips and then gets stuck. You can stitch maybe five stitches and it gets stuck. Waste of time and a huge waste of money!

Great starter/patcher.
Bought this sewing machine since I had clothes with ripped seams that needed repairing. Had a little bunching but that was mostly due to me trying to remember how to use a sewing machine since I hadn't used one in 5 years. Definitely NOT a machine for heavy or constant use but will do craft pillow cases and shirt seam repairs really well for the price.

AVOID THIS PRODUCT
I bought this sewing machine because I love to craft and took 2 years of fashion where I learned to sew. My high schools hand me down sewing machines were better than this. The petal stopped working a few days into me having it and the bobbin rarely caught either. This is a waste of time and money. I suggest to pay the few extra dollars than to get this cheaply made atrocity

this machine is not even worth calling a paperwaight.. tried yoo teach my daughter to sew and couldnt even grt through a 1/4 inch stitch.
i am at a michaels location a minimum os twice a week, never been more dissapointed!!!

Terrible cheap machine - don't waste your money
This was all plastic and cheaply made (as expected for price). However it didn't work at all. The tension was almost impossible to adjust to a proper level and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the needle to pick up the bobbin thread, hence never made a single stitch with this. Unfortunately I purchased it as a gift for my young daughter and it's been a couple of months and I don't think I can even return it. Don't waste your money - buy a brand name that's more substantial for a beginner sewer.

Horrible
I bought this online and was so excited to finally start my new project, so I finally set it up and try to start sewing and first it would skip then it got jammed.. which I tried to fix but couldn’t make it work.. so I thought I got a damaged one, I went in store and exchange it and it sew good for about 3 inches and after that the same it started skipping and it got jammed, will be returning it..
