Since I purchased two to stack on top of each other there was no issue of fastening them together. I use them for my Cricut Easy Presses so they are not sitting on my cutting table. This brand is not flimsy it is well made and heavy. So glad I made this purchase along with the holder for my cardstock and the drawers for various items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Tidy Modular cubes I was a bit disappointed that they discontinued the Recollections Modular system but these are by far much better. The are thicker, larger and safer connections than the Recollections. Still not as good as my orginal cube set up from Oriental due to being about a inch smaller but I will take it. Picture is side by side of Recollections and Simply Tidy. If you are putting together a room buy as many as you need or you may end up mix and match like mine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from full cube It wasn't too hard to assemble. The cubes fit nicely with other components, I wish that you could "hook" them together side by side, like you do to stack them. I would have liked my stacked cubes to be able to hook to the side of my desk/table one. There's a small gap, otherwise it does the job.
