Nancy B’s Science Club® MoonScope™ and Sky Gazer's Activity Journal is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 66.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS TOY - Lost Pieces - Are Replacement Available? Our 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son love their Nancy B's Moon Scope. However after using it one night we lost all the eye pieces. The toy still works but not as well as before due to the pieces missing. Does anyone know is replacements are available?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is not user friendly. Awkward to use, flimsy and not equal to the task at hand. This telescope is useless. It's more of a toy, than a star gazing tool. I hope nobody buys this product and it soon becomes defunct.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Beginner's Telescope! My two youngest daughters (6 and 9) were thrilled to experiment with the Moonscope. My nine year-old was a little disappointed when we first tried to look through it at night but, just like the instructions suggest, familiarizing yourself with the Moonscope during the day really helps with learning what the knobs do and how small movements change the view far away. Looking forward to our first full moon with the Moonscope!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sparked a curiosity for astronomy! This product has exceeded all of my expectations! We had so much fun with it that I forgot to take pictures outside! The science journal was the perfect addition to the moonscope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Scope Out this Awesome Find! My daughter is obsessed with Nancy B's Moonscope! My daughter (age 6) loves Science and is always asking questions about the night sky. This was the perfect starter telescope for her since it is small, lightweight, and durable. It is easy to carry so she can tote it around wherever we go. The booklet that comes with it is also very informative and encourages kids to document their observations. I love this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lense storage My son was so excited to have a telescope. We took it out once and the lenses were lost and can not be replaced. I wish there was built in storage because now we have something to throw away and never really got to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Telescope My 6yo had been begging for a telescope since his teacher mentioned the word astronomy and taught the class about ancient stargazers. Luckily, we were chosen to review this telescope and my son got straight to work trying to predict the future from the stars. Out of the box he was able to assemble all the pieces and figure out all the attachments with just a bit of reading help from his older siblings. As recommended in the instruction guide, it was distorted through the window so we decided to save it for a clear night outdoors. The legs fold flat for travel so he stored it in a little drawstring backpack until he had a chance to use it outdoors. My kids were able to see the moon and some stars although in the city with all the tall buildings it was kind of hard to see much. The activity journal comes with some suggested activities so we did look at some buildings and trees and tried different eyepieces. My son also enjoyed looking at the phases of the moon even though we didn't always have a chance to use it outdoors during all the phases. We forgot the telescope when we went camping but my son was able to try a real telescope and was really impressed by what he saw. This telescope is more of a toy and an introduction to telescopes. It currently has found a place in our toybox more for pretend play.
