Rated 3 out of 5 by from Arrowheads Are Not Fossils Arrowheads are artifacts, NOT fossils. They are man-made from a variety of stone, they are not former living organisms that have been preserved in stone as fossils are. Paleontologist study fossils; archaeologists study artifacts left by man. These are nice arrowheads, but I suspect not very old.
