Step 1 |
Project Note: This project should be done outdoors, or in a well-ventilated area, such as an open garage. Wash the ladder with soap and water, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and allow to dry completely. |
Step 2 |
Shake can of Universal® primer spray before use. Work over a drop cloth and spray onto the ladder. Hold spray can upright 10"-16" from surface, and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Allow to dry at least 20 minutes. |
Step 3 |
Apply the Universal® metallic oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint in the same way. |
Step 4 |
Apply two or more light coats, a few minutes apart, to avoid drips and runs. Allow to dry at least 1 hour. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
