Christmas Cookie Dunkers

Sweeten up a cup of hot cocoa with these Christmas Cookie Dunkers. Topped with Candy Melts® Candy and Christmas jimmies, these cookies are quick and easy to make, and great for swaps! These also make great teacher gifts or gifts for neighbors, when packaged in a cute mug with a tasty hot cocoa mix.

Quantities Needed:
½ Tsp. No-Color Almond Extract
2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 C. Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
3¼ C. All-Purpose Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
½ Tsp. Salt
1 C. Butter, Softened

Step 1 Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. Using rolling pin, roll out dough to 0.15 cm thickness.

Step 2 Using knife and a food-safe ruler, cut dough into 3.8 cm x 10 cm rectangles. Bake and cool.

Step 3 Melt Dark Green, Bright White and Red Candy Melts® candy, separately, according to the package directions. Pour into three separate decorating bags. Cut a small hole in each tip.

Step 4 Drizzle melted candy over cooled cookies, one at a time. Immediately top with Christmas jimmies.
