Step 1 |
Print patterns from michaels.com and cut out. |
Step 2 |
Lay the body pattern on the Pirate (green) felt and trace around it with a marker. Cut out. |
Step 3 |
Lay the ears pattern on the red felt and trace around it with a marker. Cut out. |
Step 4 |
Cut small slits onto the body where indicated on the pattern. |
Step 5 |
Cut a red chenille stem to 7". Glue it down the middle of the body lengthwise, starting at the nose and down the body. Slightly curl the end to create the tail. |
Step 6 |
Fold the ears piece in half lengthwise and push it down through one slit, then underneath and up through the other slit. Position the ears in place evenly. Add a bit of glue to the back side to help secure them in place. |
Step 7 |
Glue two wiggle eyes onto the mouse and a tiny white pom pom into the end of the nose. Let dry. |
