land of dinosaurs: flying pterodactyl

Click here to print the template and cut it out. |
Step 2 |
Fold a sheet of blue construction paper in half. Line up the half Pterodactyl wing and body patterns on the fold of the blue construction paper. Cut out the shapes. |
Step 3 |
Fold head in both places as indicated in the template. |
Step 4 |
Trace and cut out the oblong head crest from blue construction paper and glue to the head. Glue the base of the crest to the tip of the nose and allow the crest to extend beyond the fold of the head. |
Step 5 |
Glue the fold of the wings inside the fold of the body. |
Step 6 |
Thread the needle with 20" of yarn. Push the needle through the center back of the dinosaur and knot the yarn above the dinosaur’s back. Glue ends of yarn to secure. |
Step 7 |
Wrap the other yarn end around one end of a dowel and glue in place. |
