GAUGE: 9 sts and 13 rows = 4"  in stocking st

INSTRUCTIONS
 
Cast on 62 st. Join in rnd, being careful not to twist sts, and placing marker for beg of rnd.

1st rnd: *K1. P1. Rep from * around.

2nd rnd: *P1. K1. Rep from * around.
 
Rep last 2 rnds for Seed St Pat once more. 
Step 2
Proceed in pat as follows:
 
1st to 4th rnds: Knit.

5th rnd: *K1. P1. Rep from * around.

6th rnd: *P1. K1. Rep from * around.
 
Rep last 6 rnds for pat twice more.
 
Knit 4 rnds.
 
Work 4 rnds in Seed St Pat.
 
Cast off loosely in pat.
