mohawk monster slime
Step 1 |
First, remove the lid of your jar and trace the circle shape onto the back of a glitter adhesive foam sheet. Cut out the shape and stick onto the top of your jar lid. |
Step 2 |
Cut a strip of glitter adhesive foam to fit around the rim of the jar lid and stick it to the lid. |
Step 3 |
Bend a giant chenille pipe cleaner into thirds and twist the ends into itself so they stay together to form a mohawk. Set aside. |
Step 4 |
Form horns out of chenille pipe cleaners. Twist the ends together so they retain their shape. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Hot glue the chenille mohawk down the middle on the top of your lid and then hot glue one horn on each side of the mohawk. Screw the lid back onto the jar. |
Step 6 |
Now, draw your monster’s teeth (or a mouth shape) onto the back of adhesive foam sheet. Cut it out and stick in place on the front of your jar. |
Step 7 |
Use craft glue to add wiggle eyes. Hold in place for a few minutes while the glue sets, then set your jar aside to allow the glue to dry completely. |

Step 10 |
Flatten out your slime on a piece of wax (or palette) paper and add your desired mix-ins, such as sparkle pom-poms, glitter or even wiggle eyes.
