Step 1 |
First, click here to download and print the templates; then cut out the shape. |
Step 2 |
Fold two sheets of the paint pad paper in half and place the pattern on the folded edge. Trace the pattern onto the two folded sheets. Cut out the traced patterns and unfold to make the snowflakes. |
Step 3 |
Take another piece of the paint pad paper and place it on your work surface to protect it from the paint and water. |
Step 4 |
Pour a small amount of water into a cup. |
Step 5 |
Use a paintbrush to scoop out a little bit of blue paint and place it on the paper used to protect your working surface. |
Step 6 |
Now, dip your brush, then transfer a little bit of the water from your brush to the blue paint to dilute. |
Step 7 |
Paint your snowflake with watered-down paint. Set aside to dry. |
Step 8 |
Tear some tissue squares into little pieces to make the bright parts of the suncatcher and set aside. |
Step 9 |
Flip over one of the painted snowflakes and glue the torn tissue squares onto the white side of the snowflake to cover all the diamond shapes. Let dry. |
Step 10 |
Glue the two snowflakes together so the painted sides are showing on the front and back. |
