Made with archival-quality, 100% cotton, this canvas is gesso primed so that you can start painting immediately. The medium/smooth texture surface is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints, and the frame is professionally constructed. The medium-weight cotton duck is stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges.

Faster Piece is a Masterpiece
When I was asked to create a portrait of a dog from a photograph, the first choice had to be the canvas. Fortunately, Artist's Loft has several sizes and types, but the gallery wrapped, 9 x 12 was perfect for the task. It is reasonably priced for the great quality and will stand the test of time. Although I typically use oils on stretched canvas, it was a beautiful surface for the acrylics at hand.

Online mishaps
I really like these when I can get to the store to buy them. Unfortunately when I purchase online 8/10 times they are wrinkled in the corners as if they are rejects or have been smashed in your inventory. I have to wet them so they can re stretch or it causes dips in my pours.

Good canvas quality
I stocked up during their b1g2free sale, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these canvases. Tight enough for a good finish at quite the deal!
